Studio Brief 3: A Day In The Life

We were all given a different article each and create 3 illustrations about the article using 3 colours of our choice and to a specific format. 

Mine was based on the government issues in Russia. To begin I found it quite complicated to understand so after talking to Matt and reading the article over and over I highlighted key words and parts to focus on. One being the pussy riots in Russia that were striking and fighting against Putin. I found that this video was so helpful and gave me so much inspiration and ideas for my illustrations. So then I started to get them down in my sketchbook.

On this page I've repeated the same image but tested out the different colour ways. I think doing this does really help you clearly see which one would work best. 

These are my final pieces for this brief. I am happy with the concept behind them but I think that looking back if I had managed my time better I would of possibly of used Photoshop as I think it would of given it a much better quality. 

Here are all my peer feedback sheets. The general thoughts were that they liked my concept and my development work though maybe moved onto my idea to quickly so would've liked to of seen more.
