Studio Brief 2 - Frame



The task set for this lesson was taking the information in about what we had learnt about frame and from looking at the work of other artists; we were to create our own illustration including an elephant, ourself and a butterfly, in which we are to consider how the frame shall be.

And here is the final illustration that I came too: 


                             

I am happy with the overall composition of the piece. I like that I had the elephant's trunk as a key feature for the piece as I think it was a little bit different. I think that I could of been a bit more creative with placing the butterfly. I don't think I have made a clear foreground/mid ground and background though so think I could've played with that a bit more. But overall I really enjoyed this quick task and it really made me think about where I place things within the frame.
