Final Proposal

STUDIO BRIEF 3 PROJECT PROPOSAL: Printed Pictures

I intend to produce: 

- Three tea towels
- Lino printed

The content will focus on (identify 3 specific themes, texts or concepts: 

- All including the quote “The best ideas for a book happen when washing the dishes”.
- Each tea towel will have a motif on in a repeat pattern.
- The first tea towel will have poison bottles.
- The second will have coffee cups.
- The third will have magnify glasses.
- There will be a minimal colour palette of black, burgundy and a natural cream colour. Based
on my contextual research on the colours of WW1 time era.

I will be aiming to communicate (identify 3 specific messages, ideas, moods etc.:

- Charming
- Sense of the era
- Sense of what her books are like.

To an audience of ….. (name 3 characteristics:

- 50 - 80 year old women
- Fans of Agatha Christie’s work
- People who like WW1 era home ware.




STUDIO BRIEF 2 PROJECT PROPOSAL: Moving Pictures

I intend to produce:

- A 30 to 60 second sting.
The content will focus on (identify 3 specific themes, texts or concepts)
- Involve the quote “the best ideas for a book happen when washing the dishes”.
- There will be a manor house from the book ‘The mysterious affair at styles”.
- My three motifs - Magnify glass, coffee cup and poison bottle.

I will be aiming to communicate (identify 3 specific messages, ideas, moods etc.:

- To get a sense of Agatha Christie’s normal life coming up with ideas for her books.
- Her thoughts.
- Sense of the era of her book through the use of colour.
